This coat perfectly embodies all the reasons that I'm having a love affair with Cos. It's clean and understated, it has an air of Scandinavian simplicity about it and a price tag that doesn't terrify me. My pea coat is a more modern and androgynous take on the classic shape and it's exactly what I wanted from a coat this year.
The scarf is a winter staple, it's oversized and made from a cashmere blend so I can snuggle right down in to it when I'm waiting for my train in the morning. Normally, I would wear it out of my coat so the tassel ends show but it was so insanely freezing yesterday that I had to go for the old wrap-and-tuck.
The leggings are ones I bought last year and I still wear them with everything, they're the closest things I could find to affordable leather trousers and they haven't lost any of their leatheryness (yep, that's a word) which I think is seriously impressive considering they cost me £20 from Topshop.
Ahhhh the shoes. I am still so obsessed with my Bethans. They're the best shoes I've ever bought and I can't get enough of them. They're the epitome of chunky shoe perfection.
I spent Saturday morning at The Cowshed spa at Shoreditch House getting the most incredible back massage, I practically floated out the door. This was my first treatment there but I will definitely be going back. I plan to go back for a mani-pedi so I can prop myself up in an armchair with a glass of wine and watch Sex And The City on the retro TV's.
For lunch, we went to The Breakfast Club in Hoxton Square. I was so excited to finally go here because I've heard so much about it. Jack had the breakfast burrito with a side of home fried potatoes and a (very masculine looking) grapefruit mojito and I had the pancakes with berries, vanilla cream, a side of smoked bacon and an iced tea. It was all so delicious and I think we made the right decision to go later in the day because there was no queue. Go on a greedy day or you may pass out.
Caught in the act stealing some potatoes. I don't go for lunch with Jack just to eat my own food, sharing is caring!
Love your coat in combination with the fake leather pants! You look lovely :) xx
ReplyDeleteAw thank you! I can't get enough of these leggings, they only cost £22 so I might need to get another pair before next Winter.
